Tiny Treat ideas

So I like to have options when it comes to the tiny treats for our tea parties. I love being able to pick up something cute and tiny at the store, but I also don't mind spending time now and then home baking the snacks. If you want tiny bite size portions for tiny hands, plates and tummies, I'm going to list some ideas.
If you go done the cookie and cracker isle you don't have to look hard to find that they are making a lot of cookies and crackers "bite size". Some just small but a lot of them are the 100 calorie snack packs. These are awesome because you don't have to open a whole box of treats to add variety to snack time.

There is a HUGE variety of sugary treats out there. But I also wanted to be able to make healthier foods in bite size too. Most of us call them appetizers. I will be creating and posting tiny healthier foods for tea time snacks as well as the sweetie treeties we all love for tea time. I don't believe snack time has to mean "sugar time"

Any food that we make in big size can be made in tiny size. It just depends on how much work you are willing to go to. It also doesn't have to be as much work as you think, now days you can buy plenty of different kinds of dough for breads of all kinds that can be made into tiny hot dog buns, dinner rolls, hoagie buns, croissants, etc. Tortillas can be easily cut with a cookie cutter to shrink down the size for tiny hands. Toast and regular sandwiches can be cut into quarters etc. You just have to use your imagination.  I'd like to give you some fun ideas that you may not have thought of before so just follow along with the things we do and hopefully you can recreate the fun for yourself at home!
I am also a big fan of realistic fake food, I could buy it but it's not kid size. So I venture out and try different ways of making my own fancy stuff. I will show a few tutorials on how to make your own for cheaper that will look better then what you buy!
